Kukui means enlightenment in Hawaiian. Easily absorbed by the deepest layers of the skin, and forms a protective barrier on the skin that protects against environmental damage. It locks in moisture levels by forming a physical barrier to water loss, preventing further dryness and dehydration, redness and inflammation, helping with skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, dry chapped skin and arthritis. Also known to boost collagen product in and promotes the sloughing of dead skin cells to create space for new cells.

Jojoba hydrates the skin, supports barrier repair, balances natural oil production, delivers antioxidant protection, has anti-inflammatory effects, and is believed to have antibacterial properties. Jojoba is not an oil but a liquid wax ester that is the closest botanical match to our skin’s natural oil. Unlike vegetable oils and animal fats, Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil is not a triglyceride, but a mixture of long chain esters (97–98%) of fatty acids and fatty alcohols, therefore is more properly referred to as a wax, penetrating deeper into the skin. It is non-comedogenic.

Cloudberry oil is rich in Vitamin C, an antioxidant that stimulates the production of Collagen, the skin protein that promotes the renewal and growth of skin cells. Collagen is the protein that forms the protective tissue in the body. Babachi or Bakuchi is naturally rich in the antioxidant Bakuchiol. Psoralea corylifolia plant is  naturally rich in the antioxidant Bakuchiol, which has been gaining popularity due to various researches saying it is the next alternative to Retinol. Bakuchiol benefits are very similar to those of  Retinol, but without the downsides of Retinol. Babachi is better for use in the evening on the skin and not recommended to be worn in the sun.
