Face oil can combat excess oily skin, regulating oil and sebum production so this oil is a great unisex oil. Although all our oils are unisex, Men tend to have larger pores and thicker skin, so we have designed this oil for the thick skinned outdoors lover!

Macadamia is an indigenous species to Australia and is over 60,000 years old. Although not considered to be a sunscreen, it is among the top sunscreen oils as it contains cinnamic acid, a plant compound that provides a sunscreen effect. It is a hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic oil, containing squalene and oleic acid that assists with cell regeneration, omega 6 linoleic acid which is useful for balancing sebum production in oily skin, creating a natural protective barrier. Includes omega 7 or palmitoleic acid, which is beneficial for wound healing, wounds, scratches and burns and naturally occurring vitamin E. Other than jojoba oil (which is actually a waxy ester) it’s the closest match to the naturally occurring sebum of the skin.
Red Raspberry seed is a rich source of Vitamins A and E, encouraging healthy skin cell regeneration and growth stimulating collagen production while helping rebalance the skin’s natural oils and reducing acne breakouts. According to research, it can absorb UVB and UVC sun rays. But the oil offers limited protection from UVA. UVA rays increase the risk for skin cancer. It also provides the same UV protection as titanium dioxide, which is one of the primary ingredients of conventional sunscreens. It has an SPF of between 28 and 50 for UVA rays and up to SPF for UVB rays.
Kakadu Plum is a native tree from Australia which is both farmed and wild harvested exclusively in the Northern Territory, around Arnhem Land and the Kimberley Region. The Kakadu Plum fruit has the highest known Vitamin C concentration of any single natural food source in the world. It is known to have ten times the amount of Vitamin C found in other fruits, making it an excellent antioxidant. While vitamin C in Kakadu plums provides some sun protection it is not a replacement for sunscreen.
Australian Sandalwood seed is high in Omega-9 Oleic Acid it has regenerative and hydrating properties, locking in moisture, preventing your skin from drying in summer heat. Can aid in the protection of the skin by improving elasticity, reducing inflammation, while stimulating blood circulation. This light, non-greasy oil makes a great option for sensitive skin-types, especially in facial applications.
Pomegranate seed is a light, emollient oil with skin moisturising properties that spread easily on the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It acts as a humectant, helping to retain moisture in the skin and providing vibrancy and nourishment to dry, parched and lacklustre skin. Rich in Vitamin E it protects the skin cells from oxidative damages through antioxidant properties. Research has shown that antioxidants in pomegranate offer natural sun protection and protection against damaging UV rays.
Bilberry contains a high concentration of Vitamin C, Resveratrol and Quercetin (all powerful antioxidants) which work to slow the ageing process and improve the appearance of skin, a superior skin-conditioning active ingredient that helps increase the overall vitality of the dermis, which helps support and maintain collagen production – the single most important factor in preventing premature ageing. Bilberry contains compounds that help to stimulate collagen production in the skin, which can improve skin elasticity and firmness. Some research suggests that bilberry may have natural UV protective properties which can help to protect the skin from sun damage.
Our Vitamin E Oil is sourced naturally from non-GMO plant sources: Sunflower Oil. High in d-alpha-tocopherol is a powerful antioxidant which helps in neutralising free radicals, moisturising skin. By absorbing the energy from UV rays, providing photo-protection, helping prevent UV-induced free radical damage.
Lavender is safe in the sun and is not photosensitive. It has a natural SPF of about 5. It naturally decreases inflammation, alleviates discomfort, and cleanses the skin’s surface, has antibacterial properties, kills bacteria, and may prevent and heal acne.
Geranium is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory oil. By helping skin stay conditioned, and soothing irritated or breakout prone skin, it fights against skin affected by harsh weather conditions or prone to acne. Even though it promotes oil control, it is great at keeping your skin hydrated and also provides UV protection.
Saffron also known as golden spice can improve your skin tone, smoothen its texture, and brighten your appearance. It can also help reduce excessive sun tan and provide a natural radiance. In addition, the flower helps treat hyperpigmentation, acne, and scars and helps you have a blemish-free appearance. Saffron has been found to have a protective effect against sun damage. It can help to reduce the damage caused by UV rays and protect the skin from further damage.
Although we have chosen oils that are great for use in the sun, NEVER USE OILS AS A REPLACEMENT FOR SUNSCREEN.
