Lueur Organics Soleil Shimmer Body Oil is made with a combination of Organic Jojoba, Raspberry & Carrot seed oils, with Raspberry and Carrot having the highest natural content of sun protection factor in any oils.

Jojoba hydrates the skin, balances natural oil production, delivers antioxidant protection, has anti-inflammatory effects, and is believed to have antibacterial properties. Jojoba is known to be the closest thing out there to your skin’s own oil.

According to research, Red Raspberry seed oil can absorb UVB and UVC sun rays, and offers limited protection from UVA. UVA rays increase the risk for skin cancer and other skin problems like wrinkles and premature ageing. Because Raspberry Seed oil doesn’t offer full UVA protection, which is responsible for 95 percent of UV rays, Raspberry Seed oil alone isn’t recommended as a sunscreen. However, given its other beneficial characteristics, it can be used as a healing agent for many skin conditions. In some studies Raspberry Seed oil is said to have a protection factor for UV–A (PFA) values between 28-50. In conclusion this oil is a great addition to a properly formulated sunscreen and can also help with skin soothing and regeneration after sun exposure.

Carrot oil does have a slight ability to protect skin from the sun. The oil is especially well suited for mature, dry, damaged and environmentally stressed skin. It is a highly revitalising oil and is an excellent choice for all skin types.

Olivem 1000 is an all-natural derived, 100% plant based emulsifying wax. It is preservative free, non ionic, not ethoxylated, PEG-Free, and self emulsifying, derived from Olive oil.

Our Vitamin E Oil is sourced naturally from non-GMO plant sources: Sunflower Oil. High in d-alpha-tocopherol is a powerful antioxidant which helps in neutralising free radicals, moisturising skin. By absorbing the energy from UV rays, providing photo-protection, helping prevent UV-induced free radical damage.

Although we have researched to find natural oils that can be used in the sun, I can not recommend using any oils in place of your sunscreen. Therefore this product should not be used as a sunscreen.

Shake well before use. Allow oil to dry before dressing to allow minimal colour transfer.

To keep our Organic shimmer oil Organic we do not use some ingredients that will stop transfer to clothing. Our body oil will have a certain amount transferred to clothing, but we have found it washes out and does not stain.
